The revised water charges plan was revealed recently, which saw the charges fixed at €60 per one-adult household and €160 for all other households.
The coalition government hoped that this announcement demonstrated their willingness to listen to the people and addressed their concerns surrounding water charges.
However, with further protests support for the coalition government appears to be dwindling.
