On Tuesday 17th February 2015, the Irish Cabinet approved the publication of the Children and Family Relationships Bill, a bill which Taoiseach Enda Kenny described as the most important change in family legislation since the foundation of the State.
Dr Thomas Finegan is a public policy advisor to Family & Life and a member of ‘Mothers &Â Fathers Matter’, a group set up to voice its concerns surrounding the Children and Family Relationships Bill, a bill which they see as unjust.
He joined Wendy on the phone to explain what the bill is seeking to address, and what he sees as being the positive aspects as well as the contentious issues surrounding it.
