Now… what links the films The Shawshank Redemption, Tom and Viv and Shadowlands? No, it isn’t that Kevin Bacon has made a cameo appearance in all of them (or indeed any of them) They will all in fact be screened over the next 6 weeks as part of an event that explores the themes of the season of Lent through the movies!

Assistant Professor in Hebrew and Old Testament Studies at Trinity College Dublin, Dr David Shepherd and David Brown from the Church of Ireland Theological Institute spoke to Wendy about organising the series.
