Andrea Doyle-National Pyjama Day 2015

National Pyjama Day is now in its 12th year and has so far raised over €919,961 million for children’s charities in Ireland. The event sees children in day care and preschool facilities all over Ireland wearing their pyjamas on a Friday in March to help raise much needed funds for a chosen charity which enhances children’s lives

Previous recipients of monies raised include, Telethon People In Need, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Children in Hospital Ireland and Irish Hospice Homecare for Children Programme.

Early Childhood Ireland are delighted to be working in partnership with Irish Autism Action to make 2015 the biggest and best National Pyjama day yet on Friday March 6th.

Andrea Doyle of EC Ireland spoke to Wendy about the aim of the initiative.
