The Vicar of Baghdad – joy and hope in the midst of tragedy

Canon Andrew White has worked in the Middle East since 1998. He was appointed to the parish of St.George’s Church in Baghdad in 2005. His tireless work, despite having Multiple Sclerosis, in serving his flock and working for peace and reconciliation has earned him the title 'The Vicar of Baghdad'. Wendy talks to Canon Andrew about caring for Iraqi Christians who have been displaced from their traditional heartlands by war and persecution.
