EPISODE 193 – Shayla Nettey, MD, is a board-certified Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine physician. She is the co-founder of Cooking on Purpose Health, a virtual direct-care preventive and obesity medicine practice. She also serves as chief clinical strategist at GoInvo, a healthcare design agency. Dr. Nettey completed medical school at Morehouse School of Medicine where she also met her husband, and they have a 5 year old daughter. She believes that food is medicine and is the foundation of a healthy life. Dr. Antoinette Williams MD, MSPH, works as a board certified General Public Health and Preventive Medicine physician. She is a native of St. Louis MO where she learned the importance of community and is also a proud wife and mother. She is co-founder of Cooking on Purpose Health a virtual preventive and obesity medicine practice with a lifestyle medicine focus. She also serves Veterans as a Medical Examiner and works in Primary Care as well.  She attended Morehouse School of Medicine and trained at both Rutgers University and Meharry Medical College.
