Each saint shares in the growth of the church. Unfortunately, there are some Christians who are still babies (v. 14, see 1Cor 3:1ff), who are unstable and easily led astray. ...VB063

God never intended for the local church to be simply a quiet, hidden body of believers. Rather, He intended for a church to be His voice and ruling power in each community. ...VB062

Until now, we have been very limited in doing any works that He did while here on the earth. When we realize that we sit in the same place of authority as Christ – the Body of Christ will do the same works that Jesus did while He was on the earth. ...VB061

The family is on earth and in heaven. When we die we leave the body, but not the family. Our ministry on the earth is replaced by someone else, but we don’t leave the family. ...VB057

Jesus is our example – He talked to trees, wind and waves, unclean spirits, sickness and disease. He did these things as a man, anointed by the Holy Spirit. And He sent the same Spirit to us! And gave us authority to use His name! ...VB056

If you want to be used by God, don’t try to promote yourself. If you have a choice between taking the high road or the low road, take the low road. You don’t need to promote yourself any more than David did as a shepherd. ...VB054

People say that “talk is cheap,” but that’s absolute nonsense! We know that words are powerful and costly. At the expense of words wars are fought where millions die, or grace abounds and peace and joy fill men’s hearts. ...VB053

This dispensation, which we call “the church age,” began on the day of Pentecost and will end at the resurrection of the dead in Christ/rapture of the church. During our dispensation, God approaches man in a unique way. ...VB052
