Lordy lordy looks who's 75
(Part 1) Tom's turning 75 tomorrow. You may recall a year or two back that he said that today would be his last day on air. Rest assured, that is not true. What is true is that today we got a surprise call-in to wish Tom a happy birthday. Someone from our past. Who? I'll never tell.

Joe Anderson reps the Frost
(Part 4) You know how Minnesota sports are kind of...not good? That's only half true. It's the men's sports that aren't good. Women's sports range from adequate to great. The Frost exists on the "great" end of that scale, being two time PWHL champions. And you haven't heard of them before, you have now. Keep an eye on them. Check out https://www.thepwhl.com/en/teams/minnesota-frost for more information!

Anyone need an Italian clown?
(Part 3) Half the country feels like the midterms were an unprecedented success. The other feels like it's the biggest loss since the meteor wiped out the dinosaurs. But what if I told you they were actually just about average? That's right, this happens basically every four years. What doesn't happen every four years is an Italian sculptor mysteriously appearing, making a bunch of clowns, then vanishing without a trace. It happened at least once though.

Change of name, change of face
(Part 2) You know how it's not Twitter anymore, it's X? And how it's not PBI, it's DJT? Yes, seriously. Well, people don't just change the names of things these days. Now they change their faces too. Usually by turning into emaciated ghouls. We're not super sure about the reasoning behind that one.

Hail to the chief
(Part 1) It's official: Dan is royalty. Or whatever you call someone on the Three Rivers Park District Board of Commissioners. Nobility, at the very least. But what do you call someone who parks their car in front of a gas pump and goes shopping? Are we allowed to put that word here?

Zero completions
(Part 4) The Falcons have done it again. They managed to lose a game against an opponent without a single complete pass. Well, that's not strictly true: they did get four interceptions. That's a kind of completion. And hey, even if your franchise never wins, it's still worth upwards of 8 billion dollars, so the owners don't care.

Podcassie has a hotel and lyme disease
(Part 3) Cassie, also known as Winnie, is on her way to pick up Dave from his trip to Wales. Then it's back to their haunted hotel they call home, where they repair doors that dogs ate and replace kitchen appliances. Such is the life of a business owner. Usually business ownership doesn't involve months of antibiotics to treat chronic Lyme. But Cassie isn't a usual business owner, is she? The one with all the overdoses
(Part 2) Kristyn saw the Matthew Perry documentary, fittingly called The One About Matthew Perry. It's also a story you've heard a million times, because overdoses seem to be increasingly common as of late. At least we have Heidi Klum's bizarre severed hand costume to take our mind off of things.

Tragedy or treat
(Part 1) Tom and Kathryn are rolling into West Palm Beach as we speak. Maybe not the best timing, because a 2 million dollar jet just crashed a few miles away. Then, while Andy was on his way into the studio, he had to detour around a giant swarm of EMS vehicles. Who knows what that was about. But hey, at least the kids had fun on Halloween, right? Steve Windels and Nate Hood are the degree-holders of comedy
(Part 4) You probably remember Steve. You know, the beaver doctor? Yeah, him. He did his Doctors of Comedy show a few months ago, and now he's doing another. Joining him is Nate, who is not a doctor of anything, but he does have a masters. That makes him a Master of Comedy. Personally, I think that sounds a lot cooler. Wicker is not for internal use
(Part 3) Halloween is the season for scary things. But scary doesn't have to mean werewolves and vampires. It can mean whatever could possess someone to make something like Wicker. Wildwood is a more traditionally Halloween-esque movie, but apparently it's not doing so great. Maybe because it looks like a movie for 8 year olds but, according to Tim, it is not. Kind of like Clayface. Maybe don't bring your kids to see anything we talk about today.

Patrick Stewart, dancing, and trees
(Part 2) Patrick Stewart died just a few days ago. Whether you knew him as Professor X, Jean-Luc Picard, or that gay guy in Frasier, he was probably in something you liked. I don't think he was ever in Dancing With the Stars, though. He also never grew a Christmas tree for Rockefeller Center. So much life left to live, that one.

This episode does not constitute medical advice
(Part1) Alex is dressed as a doctor (not a nurse), so we take the opportunity to diagnose Jude's numerous medical issues and talk about the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. Apparently it employs like 20% of the entire city's population. We also talk a little about Xavier Riddle. Can you guess why?

Rory Paquette has two functional lungs
(Part 4) Rory Paquette has been through a lot. Nearly dying from pneumonia, floods that knocked out his internet for a month and a half, losing his business, and even more stuff we didn't even mention. So what did he do? Started a bunch of podcasts. Naturally. Al Isaacs is back, and has a whole half hour this time
(Part 3) Remember Al? The guy who learned he was adopted in his 50s? He was on not very long ago, nor did he have very long on the show. Today we rectify that. This time we get the whole story, plus a little extra. As always, you can find his book, Finding Mary Smith, at https://www.alisaacs.com/! This guest was booked using PodMatch! The good old days of more than one camera
(Part 2) Single cam has been dominating for over 20 years. Audiences just expect film-like quality from their TV shows these days. Shows with massive budgets like Stranger Things, Loki, and Andor certainly haven't helped make low budget shows look better in comparison. But are people getting sick of it? Could the age of pulp return? Kristyn hopes so.

Adamantium claws are checked, not carry-on
(Part 1) When you're bringing home your brass knuckles with giant blades welded to them, make sure TSA knows about them. Otherwise they might find them alarming, for whatever reason. We didn't ask Mike Bryant what the legal ramifications of trying to sneak such an item onto a plane could be, but we can guess that they're probably not great.

The winningest and the losingest
(Part 4) Now that the Vikings are 6-0, we're the last undefeated team. This basically guarantees us a place in the playoffs. After that? Who knows. Our "oops all field goals" strategy seems to be working well. Maybe it's the new thing. Or maybe everyone else is just injured so the Vikings are basically bullying hospital patients.

Ed Driscoll knows Louie too
(Part 3) Ed may be an Emmy-winning writer, producer and author, but there's something even more important about him: he was also friends with Louie Anderson. Once we learned that we may or may not have spent a good ten minutes talking about him instead of Ed's books, which you can find at https://www.eddriscollcomedy.com/. Petcast with Kristyn
(Part 2) We didn't intend to talk about pets basically the entire time, but we did it anyway. Adopting them, having them, watching movies about them. Most people have pets, so it's got broad appeal. But hey, we do talk about interviewing celebrities for a bit there at the beginning. Something for everyone.

Tales of sorrow
(Part 1) We start this episode with a sad story. Then we talk about people dying. Also Birch's sundowners. But all that pales in comparison to the worst news of all: Vegemite is officially not a human right. Yes, we couldn't believe it either.

Greg Running is mad for MAD
(Part 4) Greg is a Minnesota native with quite the collection. He has a copy of every MAD magazine produced from #24 onward. Before that, it was a comic book, so 24 is the first one we all know and love. He brought several of them in, including the recent 600th issue. That's a lot of history in a magazine about...what is MAD about, anyway?

Giant eyes and broken teeth
(Part 3) Tim saw You Can See Everything. You know how the trailers make Elizabeth Holmes look super creepy? That's not an accident. What is an accident is having your teeth knocked out during a big hockey game. At least we hope so, because man that looks painful.

Lots of good fun that is funny
(Part 2) Announcing that you're having a baby is a big deal. The moment might feel cheapened if you do it live on TV while Thing 1 and Thing 2 are dancing around though. And yes, this is something that happened on Dancing with the Stars.
