Finding missing children, and a decent meal kit
Nobody likes it when a child goes missing. Luckily, they're starting to do something about that, apparently. At least in Florida, anyway. Not quite as tragic as a missing child but still unpleasant is worrying about what's for dinner. Is there one meal kit to rule them all? We discuss. We also remind our audience that if you want to make a 20% commission on all cash collected by advertisers you find for our show, you should contact us, because we're hiring. Radio stations used to do a lot of drug testing
You've probably heard that radio was a much wilder place back in the 80s and 90s. Pretty much every story you've heard is true. What you haven't heard is a news station that doesn't try to sway your opinion. Not unless you know Japanese, I suppose. Topics: Divisiveness in the news The history of Minnesota radio State Fair stories Drug testing stories

Dollyfest, Disney World, or a bucket with a bag in it
Are you accustomed to luxury? You know, running water, a bed, that sort of thing? You may want to check out Dollyfest. It's sure to have all your 19th century needs met, at the very least. Age is just a number, much like 2197
If you've ever felt helpless, like your age is holding you back, just think of Dale "Grey Beard" Sanders, who hiked nearly 2,200 miles at the age of 91 in under a year. No, your age is not holding you back. Your genetics on the other hand might be. Ephraim Herschmann comes together at the last second
We couldn't find a guest for this show. At least, not until about ten minutes prior. Ephraim swooped in to save the day with very short notice. It's a good thing, too, because we had plenty to talk about. Podcasts, working with your family, south Florida, and even how ghosts and aliens fit into various religious sects all come up. You can listen to Ephraim's podcast at https://www.cometogether-podcast.com/! This guest was booked using PodMatch! Interested in being a guest on the show? Reach ou...

Oh No! More death
The latest victim of the grim reaper's sprint is Peter Cullen, most famously the voice of Optimus Prime and Eeyore. Will this never end? We're not sure, which is why we give advice to aging celebrities on today's show. Definitely avoid drugs and ladders, at the very least. Topics: Kristyn takes a Thriller class Peter Cullen dies at 85 The age of the celebrity is coming to an end Minibike crash in Brooklyn Park The ubiquity of TBIs DWTS cast spoilers

Coyote vs. Acme vs. Distributors
Today's show is a double header. First you get hairstyling and grooming tips, then we talk about Coyote vs. Acme for nearly a half an hour. It's a movie that apparently almost never got off the ground until some relatively unknown distribution company swooped in and bought the rights. According to Tim, it's a very good thing they did. Topics: Eyebrows and hair Dogs Coyote vs. Acme Whether Link should talk in the upcoming Zelda movie

Dick Wybrow is a Minnesotan and radio guy, but not a Minnesota radio guy
Dick moved from Winnipeg to Edina when he was 9, graduated high school there in 1987, spent some of his young adulthood listening to Tom, then jet setted across America on multiple radio stations for a while. He now lives in New Zealand where he writes a million books. Well, 21, but that's still basically a million. His latest book, The Facilite Con, has been reduced to 99 cents for a very limited time only - as in, probably a day or two. Check out his website, https://www.dickwybrow.com/, for ...

Christine Handy is a cancer survivor, not a soprano
Christine started modeling at 11. 30 years later, she started a long series of aggressive treatments for breast cancer. She later noticed that so many stories about breast cancer, whether fiction or otherwise, tend to end in tragedy. Things have come a long way, and Christine herself is proof. It's time to start telling the stories of triumph. You can find Christine's book, Walk Beside Me, as well as her other ventures at https://christinehandy.com/. This guest was booked using PodMatch! Dolly Parton and Tim Curry die on the same day
August 25th is a day that will go down in infamy. No, not because that's the day Zimbabwe joined the UN, although that's very important as well. We lost two beloved icons nearly simultaneously yesterday. Also Meta lost 17 billion dollars, although that's functionally nothing to them. How picky do picky eaters get?
We've all known picky eaters. Perhaps we are one ourselves. Not wanting to eat an "Oreo chicken burger" isn't so much being picky as self-preservation. In which we wrestle with pronouns
Jack Hicks is back for what is likely to be a weekly appearance. Unless, of course, he gets cancelled for saying the wrong thing. Maybe it would be better if we stuck with talking about wrestlers who are either dead or very old. You're unlikely to get a piledriver from one of them, so it's pretty safe. 9/11 Reunited reminds us of the before times
On the 11th, it will have been 25 years since 9/11. Did you know that Tom and the rest of the KQ Morning Show played a small role in its history? Some of us were too young to even really know what it meant. Perhaps it was better that way. Fernando Alessandri is back from Texas
Fernando recently helped his son move from California to Texas. Then he went back. You know how moving sucks? Helping someone move a thousand miles also sucks. Maybe worse, actually. Does ChatGPT know who your pets are?
Kristyn has famous cats, apparently. Go ask AI about them. While we're on the topic, we asked ChatGPT about Jude. Medicine after 65
Kathryn had to go to the doctor today. The way they talked, you'd think she's in her 90s. Maybe it's because she's tall. Tall people don't live as long, you know. Especially the ones that are in the eight foot range. And especially the ones that eat sprouts contaminated with E. Coli. That's a thing now, by the way. Margaret Eastman Smith with a literal and figurative moral re-armament
Margaret spent 35 years in Moral Re-Armament, a movement that intended to bring morality back to a world wracked with war. Whether they succeeded is debatable, as is the line between a movement and a cult. Margaret thinks they may have straddled that line pretty closely at times. The specifics of growing up in MRA - as well as her life after - are in her book, A Spectacular Inheritance. For more information, visit Margaret's website at https://margareteastmansmith.com/. What's worse: drugs, or being a child star?
Fentanyl is all the rage these days when it comes to overdosing, but that wasn't always the case. You had a cornucopia of ways to party like a dead rockstar. One thing that hasn't changed, however, is that child stars become broken adults. We don't like the idea of AI being in our shows and hosting our podcasts, but could that be a good way to have kids in movies without ruining a real life kid? Topics: Hayden Panettiere vs. Neutrogena AI replacing child stars AI replacing everyone else too ...
